Yesterday
I spotted the first redbud of the season. Today they are everywhere in the park
near us. It’s like Momma use to say, “one of you does something you all want to
do the same thing.”
Last
year I posted about the first redbuds I saw. This year it’s three weeks earlier
for my first redbud sighting. Perhaps the earlier date is the result of climate
change. Perhaps it’s a seasonal oddity. Or maybe its nature coming back in full
force with springtime when we need it most.
